PRESTON & CHILD
In many of the illustrations I had created for the bestselling duo, I used photographs taken of the models I made in my studio or the ones I photographed at various locations. I integrated these photos with my drawings, creating totally new digital photo-illustrations seen below. All of the formats were designed by the publisher.

LINDSEY DAVIS
The Lindsey Davis mystery novels featuring Marcus Didius all took place in ancient Rome, so I thought it would be most appropriate to illustrate the entire series using Roman style mosaic as a backdrop. All the illustrations painted for this series were done with the aid of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. All of the formats were designed by the publisher.

WILBUR SMITH
Many of the artworks for the hardcover editions of Wilbur Smith books were created wholly on Adobe Illustrator and finishing touches were made in Photoshop. That was because of the amount of drawing and lettering involved in each cover and Adobe Illustrator was the most suitable app. As for the mass market reissues, the illustrations were done primarily with Photoshop.

NELSON DeMILLE
All of the earlier covers I created for Nelson DeMille were painted in airbrush. The samples you see here were created later with both Illustrator and Photoshop apps. As with all the other titles by this author, the author's formats were all designed by the publisher.

JOHN J. GOBBELL
For the John Gobbell book covers, the series started with a bold graphic approach but later I was asked to change the art to a more illustrative look, featuring sea battle scenes. All of the images were painted in the Adobe Photoshop App.

MACK MALONEY
The artwork I did for Mack Maloney covers were all put together with photos I took and then were fused with my drawings in Photoshop. For example, the helicopter that is featured on the cover below of Strike Force Bravo was of a realistic looking military helicopter model I bought and photographed in my studio. As for the cover of Strike Force Charlie, I used a photo I had taken of the White House and altered it in Photoshop to work with my design. The author's format was designed by the publisher.
