In 1973, my London studio, SOLUTION, started doing illustrations for magazine publishers. One of my high profile clients was Penthouse Magazine, also a new startup business, and like ourselves, they were highly innovative, energetic and very design conscientious, Penthouse was without doubt one of the best designed magazine at that time, regardless of being a men’s magazine. I did a number of double spread illustrations for the magazine’s earlier editions before I moved my business to the USA.

In 1974, my studio in New York City started doing illustrations for magazine articles such as Seventeen and later doing covers for a variety of business and news publications. As my reputation grew, I found myself doing more and more business, science, trade and educational related magazines covers.
